While visiting my grandparents in South Dakota, I often hang out on their bear rug!
This blog follows Raoul, otherwise known as "the mayor", and his humans, John and Donna, through their daily life adventures.

Olive mid-flight
Olive was one row in front of me on the flight and also enjoyed hanging out of her bag!
Friendly Skies!
This was the easiest trip back to the states! The flight attendants allowed both Olive and me to hang on the seat outside of our bags! It was great!

We finally met Olive and her mom! Can you believe we happened to book the same flight back to the states?

Trip to Hermance!
Yesterday I went with my friend Chico to Hermance. It was quite fun and completely wore me out as you can see by the photo below.
First we went through the village on our way to the forest. We met some westies along the journey.
Most of the forest we followed a stream under a nice canopy of trees until it opened up next to a field. This is where Chico and I made our leap through the barb wire fence to investigate the cows! These cows were very nice and allowed us to share their space.
I hope we go out there again. I spied a few cow patties that might be perfectly aged the next time we go. Mmmm. Yummy. Nothing like a perfectly aged patty.

Summer Finally!!!
Sorry it's been awhile since my last post. Lots of activity around here since the weather has warmed up. My daddy was here for a couple days then had to go off to Afghanistan. He is trying to help them figure out what is poisoning them. It is pointing to their food supply. As a pug, I can understand this. When your food is not safe you have to take desperate measures!
Anyway, the weather is much better and I've been hanging out with my friend Snoopy on his terraces.
Here's me on the other terrace with one of Snoopy's many beds. There was talk about a swimming pool for Snoopy but I'm happy that hasn't happened yet. I can't stand to get my feet wet!

Have a great day! Peace out!

Meet pug baby Yoda!
The larger sleeping pug is Botox whom I posted a while back as a young pup. He's now six months and has a new playmate, Yoda!
Yoda is only two and a half months old and has an older buddy Chew Baca the boxer. Both Yoda and Botox hang out at a Toiletage for dogs where their parents work.
As you can see, Yoda is a super adorable baby!!!

Peace Out.

Recovering.
Yesterday wasn't so good for me. It started out well, but then, while playing with my buddy Chico, I managed to scratch the cornea of my eye. During the vet visit, I became the incredible hulk of pugs while they were forcing fluorescene dye into my eye. Yes, it took several humans to finally control me! I'm now recuperating at home but there was some noise from my mom about eye drops five times a day for one week. We shall see about that!

Sleeping near Alva
Baby Alva visited and really wore me out! Fortunately, some of my favorite pillows happened to be on the kitchen floor.

Wine Degustation in Bourgogne
Sorry for my slackness in posting on the blog as of late. Easter holiday brought me back to the Burgundy region of France but this time I went with my pal Chico! It was a feast all around. We were a big hit at the fine restaurants and met quite a few chefs! Pictured below is chef Maria from a restaurant in Beaune France.
I was a king in Burgundy. My parents were tasting some red drink called Prieure Roch but I enjoyed some fine mineral water served at the table! (See picture below!)
Here are the wines from Prieure Roch that are made by Henry Frederic Roch and his second man Yannick Champ. Henry Roch is the co-directore of Domaine de la Romanee-Conti which according to the experts is a fine wine.

Below you can see I'm waiting patiently for the meal to begin.
I finally gave up and headed over to the grand fireplace where I did my impersonation of a French bulldog.
Here's me and my bud, Chico sniffing out all the dogs that have passed before us on this chateaus land.
I really think my mom had enough to drink at this point and was trying to tell her to get those other humans to start eating!
Even sitting by the stove didn't speed things along!
We did finally eat and I was rewarded with some nice beef burgundy!
Below you can see I'm waiting patiently for the meal to begin.

Whiskey and Lilly!
This little pekingese mix is named Whiskey! He's actually from Spain so we didn't get a lot of details but I really enjoyed playing with him!
This little two month girl is named Lilly. She is new to our quarter and is a American bulldog and French bulldog mix. I'm sure you'll be seeing a lot more of her in future posts.
