Spring in February!

I love this driftwood art.

TIMBER!  During my morning walk, I managed to capture the tree falling!  It will be a relief to finally have the space back as it's been fenced off for a year now.  Apparently, the tree was diseased.  It's really feeling like spring around here!

sunshine! :) great shot of the tree falling, btw. an entire year before the city got around to felling the tree? it looks like a nice open place to run around in the sun now.

petoskystone: YES! An entire year to cut the tree! From what I understood in my limited French, the gardener said they wanted to wait to let people get use to the idea before they actually cut the tree. In my opinion, that's one long and slow adjustment period! So glad it's done.

in my area of the u.s., the longer the wait to get rid of a diseased tree, the longer people have to choose an attorney to sue for damages should the tree fall sooner than scheduled ;)

Looks so nice! It is too hot here in singapore, but I guess I shouldn't complain! I hope winter is over for Geneva...even in Chicago they have had 50 degrees, but you know that is just a tease there!
