The rents found us an apartment in Ankara. Apparently, I can have my own room and bath since it's so big! Lots of balconies too so that's a plus.
I've been making sure all my goodies get packed as well as my favorite toys and beds. Lots to do before the move in mid-June.
Peace out.

Louis' pad
I'm hanging with the Daly's while the rents are searching for a new home for us. Apparently, it's not too easy with a small dog in tow but I"m confident they will come up with a nice place. In the meantime, I'm hitting the dog park with my bud Louis and we are enjoying his posh pad! (pictures were taken by Hillary Daly)

Chez Daly
Sorry for the lack of posts lately. A lot has been going on in my household these days. I did go to Lyon last weekend. As you can see, I was exhausted after our night in Lyon so took full advantage of the swaying train home.
I'm currently spending the next week with my buddy Louis at his house. My parents are in Ankara Turkey which is going to be my new home come mid-June. I'll keep ya posted on what that means for me exactly.
Peace out.

BBQ
One of my all time favorite chefs, Juerg, on the grill! He tends to drop a lot of things which I REALLY enjoy!
Once the belly is semi-full, I can retire to sun bathing on the terrace.
It was a little hot in the sun so I had to retire to the couch with my daddy.
Finally, I couldn't take it anymore and had to crash in my travel bag. I'm off to Lyon this weekend so I should have some great pics of the markets and the riverfront.

Morning on the lake.
The town of Geneva added some decorative flags around the lake. Personally I think they are out of scale for the pedestrian (and doggy) on the ground but they make great marking posts! I've left a lot of pmail on those posts!!!

The beginning of a summer full of dog park action.
There's a new pug at the dog park. I think his name is Napoleon.
And of course there is a new puppy in the park!

Dog Park Action!
On my evening walk last week I met up with this poodle who was traveling in style!
It was also a great week for the dog park!
The beagle gang was out in full force.
Spring was definitely in the air!

A visit from Louis!
Louis was visiting for a few nights so we started it off with a trip to our favorite coffee shop, Boreal!
Followed up with Louis' approval of our new couch!
Then some playing around with my toys!
We ended with some couch surfing.
Peace out!

Goodies from Asia!
Check out the loot I received for my birthday all the way from Asia! My good friends, Suhail and Kristen (Pico's mom and dad), are traveling the globe for a year and still remembered my birthday! So sweet! They happened to be in Singapore at the time and sent me these goodies. I especially like the bag they came it! Don't you think the dog is a pug? You can check out their travels through their blog, http://www.mintjellie.com/ .

Spring in February!
I love this driftwood art.
TIMBER! During my morning walk, I managed to capture the tree falling! It will be a relief to finally have the space back as it's been fenced off for a year now. Apparently, the tree was diseased. It's really feeling like spring around here!

Lounging at Boreal Coffee
Thank God for Boreal Coffee! I went and hung out there while major construction was happening on my building today. They hooked me up with some comfy pillows and I was fast asleep after this photo.

Winter dog park action.
It was a bit of a mud slog.
But I made friends with Cosmo the Brussels Griffon.
He was VERY hard to photograph.
But a good time was had by all!

Christmas Travels Part 4 - South Kakalakee and beyond
On the way to South Kakalakee, we stopped in St. Augustine.
And visited the oldest house in America.
As well as Savannah and their lovely squares.
Then we crossed into South Kakalakee where we enjoyed a lovely rest area.
And I cruised around with my dad in the woods.
At the river.
The Edisto.
Visited my cousins. This is Oliver.
In true southern spirit, Oliver is even sporting a Christmas sweater.
Meet my XL cousin Titus.
Way down yonder in the land of cotton!
Saw some interesting signs.
Gone to heaven?
They have grocery stores called Piggly Wiggly in the South!
And of course they sell hunks of cured pork fat. I could smell that in the collards but never got to taste it! Such a shame. Maybe next time the rents will throw some down to me.
For the finale of the trip, the neighbors had raccoons for pets! These things were about double my size and I wanted nothing to do with them. Thank you very much, but NO way did I want them free roaming anywhere near me. They really wanted to check me out and actually reached out and touched my front leg!
The neighbor also had a dog named Blaze that was thankfully nice to me. He has been known to chase people off the property so I was happy not to become lunch. I was glad he was friendly. I wasn't so sure when I first saw the Rebel flag.
I'll leave you with the tail end of the raccoon reaching out to me.
