Another Great Weekend in Lyon

One of my favorite things to do is run around the river park in Lyon! This time I was surprised with a nice planting of clover that was just perfect to "low ride" in!

I also did some adventure trekking. Here you can see me getting dangerously close to the water!


The owner of this boxer wouldn't allow him to say hello. It was just so sad. Ah well, I had a good time anyway.


We also visited a medieval village just outside of Lyon on the way back to Geneva. Man, it was freezing inside the walls of the village and let me tell ya, those streets are hard to walk on with the cobble stones.

Chico's visit!

My good friend, Chico, is over for the day and possibly a night. I'm showing him the fine art of napping during the day. I told him he could sleep in any of the many beds I have around the house. As you can see, he finally settled down with me(the small black spot between the orange and brown pillow) on the couch.

This is my second favorite bed in the day time. I guess he thinks so too.

I rarely sleep on the floor. It's just too common dog in my opinion.



Of course at night this is my all time favorite! The human bed!

Another Sunday. . .

It was another Sunday in Geneva. We went on our usual boat ride across the lake. As you can see, I was not too excited but it was good to get to the park.

Back from my Holiday!

My peeps are back from London town and all they brought me were these pictures of dogs they saw while in London. Argh!!!! AND, one was even a puppy! How dare them! Anyway, I had a blast at Snoopy's house and I'm still recovering with LONG naps!!

Apparently, the great danes name is Louis.

This is Luna a 14 week old curly coated retriever. She's the new pup of my parents friends sister. They were saying something about meeting this one. Humph.

This is just some random Afghan they saw while in the park in London. Geez.

Bath Time!

My parents are headed to London so I'm getting ready to head over to my buddy Snoopy's house. My mom didn't appreciate my aged outdoor funk so she forced me into the tub for a "cleaning".

Sunday Brunch

My mom needs to get her stuff together! We went for a croissant and coffee on Sunday and saw this dog so perfectly comfortable with a nice pillow. I, on the other hand, was sitting on a hard wood bench! Geez! And I thought pugs were supposed to be pampered. Well, she has assured me this won't happen again!

My Meeting with Merlin!

Today started out with an extended lie in as you can see below I was quite comfy before my mom started using the flash! Argh.

We then did our usual boat ride across the lake and ran into this 7 month old pug named Merlin! He really wanted to join us at our table so his owner brought him around for a quick greet and sniff.



I hope I see Merlin around more. We had a nice introduction and check out his tight double tail curl!

Oh HI!!!

I ran into Gizmo at the street fest today. At first I thought he was a strange looking pug but then realized he was a Brussels Griffin. In any case, we had a good romp!!

Visiting Valentin

I cruised up to the Baite area and ran into Valentin. His people run the cafe up there and he gets to run free in the area.


I followed up with a nice nap with my squirrel!

Sights and Smells in Paris!

This little pug was waiting for the Paris Metro.

We snuck into the section of Luxembourg gardens where dogs aren't allowed to capture this photo.
And, of course we went through a Sunday market near our hotel that had these yummy chickens ready to be eaten. Unfortunately, my mom and dad didn't allow me to indulge! Argh!

BHV Pet Store in Paris

Last weekend we went to Paris and I strolled through the BHV pet store.

Brown Cow Attacks in Berner Oberland!!

It was a bright sunny day in the Berner Oberland area of Switzerland when we began our journey into the alps with my buddy Chico. We first boarded a cable car that took us up to the top and in true pug fashion, had lunch.


We started our decent with panoramic views of the valley. Chico and I enjoyed some nice big cow patties on the way down. It was truly an exceptional hiking area!
However, I noticed these large beasts that looked like gigantic dogs so I had to get a closer look! Unfortunately, they were not friendly and proceeded to chase after me.
As you can see, I made a swift retreat to the safety of my humans and avoided all large brown cows after this. Peace out!!!

Trip to Provence!

Our trip started out with me having to wear this medicated color (as seen below) to help prevent me from getting the dreaded Leishmaniasis that is found in the Mediterranean areas of France. Unfortunately I had a horrible reaction which turned into this itchy rash around my throat. Luckily we only had to have it on for 4 days. I guess I won't be going down there in the summer months again.

While we traveled through the small villages we stumbled on this strange act of people showing you these little piglets and wanting you to "donate" money towards their vaccination fund. I thought the little guy was cute, and my daddy thought he looked like me!


In the town of Nimes we found a street named after me!

Here I am cruising the top of the Chateau neuf du pape castle!

And finally, I'm out in the vineyard showing my peeps the finer points to the Chateau nuef du pape soils. See these large rocks really add to the particular taste one finds in the wine!

Chico came over and we wore each other out! Here he is taking a snooze on the couch before he headed home for the evening.

Rainy Day

It's a lazy rainy day in Geneva. We are headed to Provence tomorrow so I guess I'll just chill out and store up energy for the long weekend. I'll post pictures on my return. Have a good weekend!
