Paris Recap

We were very fortunate our train departed Geneva for Paris on Wednesday due to the general strike.  I enjoyed my view and seat all to myself!

Doing my usual modeling at the store Merci.

Inside Merci!

The perfect art exhibit for dogs - topic urine.  What more could I want?

A little local humor!

We had a little difficulty getting home on the train.  They announced they were looking for a train driver which took 40 minutes to accomplish.  Oh those French.

I was also shocked that after five years of train travel in Europe, I had two people on one train who did not want to sit next to me!!  Yes, you read it correctly!  Humph.  We stuck to our guns and eventually enjoyed a seat to myself.   First class wasn't too shabby either. :)  Peace Out!

Paris!!!

Riding the TGV in my new bag! It worked marvelously and I wasn't charged a ticket.

I also enjoyed the cafes much better with some plush seating of my own!

Eventually, the humans figured out what I really wanted. To be up on their laps! Ha! Also, at this bar, Charonne, we met a friendly crowd of fellow pug lovers and owners! Here's a shout out to them!

The Parisians love carlins (aka pugs) so of course their was a great window display with pugs for the holidays.

My favorite is the yellow hat! The pug looks all hip with the wrist band and the necklace!

Ahhh. No trip to Paris is complete without the obligatory stop at the BHV pet store!

Yes! Another cafe and I scored my own seat!

Enjoying the canal at St. Martin.

This is Charlie, the Parisian pug! His owner walked a block back just so Charlie could meet me! All in all, it was another fabulous time in Paris!

Waiting for Paris!

It was a gorgeous spring like day in Geneva so I hit the usual dog park with my bud, Louis!

After, I enjoyed a nap in my new train travel bag. I'm off to Paris tomorrow for a long weekend.
Have a good one!

Photos of my September trip to Paris!

On my way to Paris!

After reading about some new dog friendly parks in Paris I got a bit comfortable on my mom's lap for the next two hours.

Finally arriving at our hotel and wondering what we are going to do next.

Making sure the hotel balcony is up to my standards as well as securing the perimeter for my parents. I notified them that it meets pug security standards.

The Paris Metro near Parc des Buttes-Chaumont. It's such a glorious transit system and is so animal friendly.

Me in the Parc des Buttes-Chaumont in the 19th arrondisement.

Later waiting for my parents to finish at Malongo Coffee in the 5th.

Strolling the Canal St. Martin.

Wondering about this street art. At first, I was excited thinking it was something edible. Soon, I discovered that not only was it not edible but it actually looked a bit scary.

Meeting some local pugs. This is Rodney the pug at Canal St. Martin area.

This black beauty is Bella from the 5th.

Finally, our trip came to an end. Here we are at Gare de Lyon.

Waiting for our platform to be announced.
