Afternoon at IKEA

Wow! Please forgive my slackness on posting. Life has been crazy. There's talk about a possible trip to Africa for me and I'm wondering how the hyenas are going to feel when I take over their hood! I can't wait to roar at those lions!

Anyway, on to more mundane things like shopping at IKEA. Yes, I was toured around the maze like store with my two buddies, Bianca and Chico. We, of course, did this in the luxury of our beds so it was not too taxing on me. Of course, we were rewarded at the end with a nice hot dog!

Peace out!

The Gang

Sunday I enjoyed some park time with my buddies! L to R, Mighty, Maggie, me, and Chico.

My rents are headed to Lisbon today and I'm headed over to Catherine's house for my spa week. There's talk of grooming, dog parks, herbal dental cleanings, and raw food! Personally, I think I got the better end of the deal. See ya back on the blog on Sunday!

Seeing Doubles

It's rare to see a pug in Geneva so coming across two sets of pugs in one day was an exceptional day! The two pugs above were owned by German tourists.

These pugs were riding the same bus as me! What a great day!

Sweltering Heat in Geneva!

It reached 97 degrees today in Geneva and that's just too hot for us dogs! The best way to deal with it, is to just stretch out.

Back from my USA trip

It was another incredibly bug free year in Alaska so I was able to enjoy napping outside! What a pleasure!

Here I am in what is known to the humans as the "perch". It's high enough I can see out of the porch but I have to be put up there and taken down. I'm not sure why those humans haven't built me a proper stairway.

Here I am with my mom hanging out in a friend's cabin.

Being adored by the little ones.

One of my many hikes to peoples cabins.

My good friend Stella accompanied me.

The view from the deck!

One Alaskan method of getting home from a cabin.

Catching the view of Stella from my doggy friend Obie's window lookout. His humans have got the lookout thing down! I guess it helps one's an architect and the others a contractor.

Thankfully, I did not go out on the glacier this year. However, my mom left me for three days to spend time on it so this is from her trip.

While in Chicago, I hung out at my buddy Pico's house! He allowed me to eat out of his bowls and sleep in his beds!

This is Barker and Meowsky Pet store in Chicago. These are the resident dogs. A must stop while in Chicago if you have a chien or chat.

Maude at Paper Doll

Chicago always means a trip to the great store, Paper Doll, where I get filled in by the resident pug, Maude. I'm actually in Alaska now but haven't been able to download new pictures. I'm heading out to the cabin tomorrow so I will be out of communication until the end of July. Have a great 4th of July!

Chi Town with Pico

Life is good! I made it to Chi town without any problems thanks to the good people at Lufthansa air!

I have been welcomed into my friend Picos house! He has introduced me to all the new dogs in the hood and how to properly stalk the squirrels! Since he is a rat terrier he is quite the expert in vermin!

Tomorrow I am heading out to my old friend Bos house where I will stay while my mum goes to South Dakota.

Peace out!

Au Revoir and Biscuits!

Just when I found a great Coffee shop with excellent biscuits, I'm off to Chi town tomorrow and will return to Geneva on August 4th. Soon I'll be posting from Bucktown dog park!!! Woot! Woot. Two weeks later, I'll be in Alaska for a month where I'm not sure how much I'll be in contact. Not too much civilization there, let alone internet or electricity.

Boréal Coffee Shop UPDATE!

The owners at Boréal Coffee (60 rue de Stand) read my blog post and have taken quick action with the dog biscuits! Yes, they now have dog biscuits and are now ranked absolute number one in my ratings of places to hang out in Geneva! Woof! Woof!

New Coffee Shop in Geneva! Boréal Coffee!

A new coffee shop has opened in Geneva! I think my mom really likes it as we go there almost every day. I don't mind since they have comfortable couches and plush rugs but they do need to figure out the dog biscuit situation. I sit patiently at the end of the counter just like in Seattle but they never give me a biscuit. What's up with that?

Never enough dog beds.

Soaking the sun up.

Happy Holiday!

The humans have continued on their search for great wines so here's some photos of me last weekend during the search.

I met one of the local vineyard dogs. She wasn't too happy with me marking out her territory.

We had some much needed relief from the heat down in the cellar.

I'm chillin outside with a bone.

AND, finally all the cases of wine that was purchased. Mr. Didier Joris has made some fine wines in the Valais.

Roscoe passed away...

Roscoe passed away...

Today is a very sad day in the Seattle pug community. Roscoe passed away. He was one of the first pugs that showed me the ropes on Queen Anne. He will be missed terribly. Please send his parents some soothing karma as I know they are missing him terribly.

Strolling in the Geneva Countryside.

Castles.

Horses!

Vineyards with some of my favorite human friends, Juerg, Oliver, and Heather.

And, last but not least, a forest trail to keep me cool.
